Beaver Trial
In May 2008, SWT and RZSS were granted a conditional licence by the Scottish Government for a trial reintroduction of up to four beaver families to Knapdale Forest, Mid-Argyll. As licence holders, the project partners are responsible for raising a minimum of £750,000 to support the six-year project.
